The latest version is coming along nicely with many many NPC behaviours and pathfinding implemented. NPCs will follow a daily schedule, talk to one another, pick things up and put them away, close doors, walk around an area and so on. Party members also follow the player around and NPCs can be added to the party and removed (still manual though) and they will change state from NPC to party member nicely.
Next on the list of things to do is performance improvement, smooth out code for walking to things so NPCs don't bump into them, more NPC actions and then combat. Basic combat, but still combat :). Prepare for blood to be shed. Possibly accidentally when your pistol goes off in the spaceport and security responds with lethal force...
