We’re SaberPhrog, a two-man game development team from the UK. We recently finished our debut game Shudder, a retro style, high speed, twin-stick shooter with one stick and no shooting, that sits somewhere in the middle of Geometry Wars, Pac-Man, and Snake. It features a variety of new and upgradable ships which can be purchased with an in-game currency (No microtransactions here!), as well as a high score system and the ability to harness the awesome power of the Shudder Drive 9000tm. We were featured in the HYPE section of this month's Edge Magazine, Issue 323, where they described the game as “Simple, thrilling and immediately compulsive…”.
