Rogue Legacy is a 2D platforming genealogical roguelite where anyone can be a hero. You must traverse a procedurally-generated castle to uncover the secrets of your cursed heritage. You have only one chance though, as there is no redemption from death. Fortunately your lineage spawns like bunny rabbits, and there are plenty of successors willing to pick up the sword. Unfortunately genetics aren't a perfect science, resulting in children who suffer from a variety of different traits, such as blindness, dyslexia, and even irritable bowels syndrome. Do you have what it takes to uncover your family's history and redeem its honor?

...even with my small core duo 2.44 , 4giga ram... the game demo is too slow using the desura interface...so i gave up to buy it..other demo directly downloaded are smoother..help
The Linux download, despite the .zip extension, is actually an executable installer! Don't try to extract it with standard "unzip", as it will fail halfway.
The installer is 32-bit, so if you happen to have a "pure" 64-bit setup and don't want to pollute it with all that "lib32-*" crap, you can use "7z x" to extract the files. The game itself is in the "data" dir.
This game is freaking amazing and it is super hard. I think I am on 100+ generations and I still have not made it too far!

Looks like a great game and I want to play it a lot, it is just the controls for the pc/keyboard are utter **** and you can't really remap them in any useful way and as some who use wasd as movement and the like the game is unplayable to me because no one put the effort of ten minutes in to give it playable keyboard controls and its a shame to I really wanted to play it well unless they fix this it was money wasted

When can i update rogue legacy if i bought it from desura?
uninstalling doesn't seem to do anything and i'm stuck with version 1.0.8 because the manual update on dev webpage requires a version of the game i cannot find anywhere, help please?
A good detail it has demo... every game should have it! I will try it out.
