Yep, it's less wide, but taller because much of it will be sunk into the ground. And like you found out, it'll be in Gamma.

1 note, though. (nitpicking alert!)
Considering that about 1/4 to 1/3 of the pillbox is going to be usually sink into the ground (judging by that line around the base), the windows do seem slightly too low.
On the plus side, at least there's finally some head-room in the pillbox. :)

Besides, on flat terrain, it'll only be sunk in about 1/5, right?
(There should be more wall under the windows than above.)
Anyway, this new pillbox is many times better than the Beta version; much better designed (It's smaller, it has more protection around the windows, plus the reinforcement supports around the corners and roof, and it finally has an access hatch).
