New enforcer model for quake 1, by Chereptor. The model was inspired by my previous model - ranger and the original enforcer.
Animations from quake 1 re-release were taken as a basis, adapted to the new enforcer model and flaws were fixed (the arm is almost completely included in the weapon, twisted arms, etc.).
Demonstration:
installation:
Important! There are two variants of the model in the archive - mdl and md5. md5 is of higher quality, but only re-release engine ("KexQuake"), Quakespasm-Spiked, and FTE are supported.
installing the mdl model:
move the mdl model to the progs folder in id1 or to the directory with the mod.
- /id1/progs/enforcer.mdl
- /id1/progs/h_mega.mdl
installing the md5 model:
For FTE and quake spasm spiked - Unpack the contents of the archive to the id1 directory or to the directory with the mod.
- /id1/progs/enforcer.md5anim
- /id1/progs/enforcer.md5mesh
- /id1/progs/enforcer.lmp
- /id1/progs/h_mega.mdl
or
- /id1/progs/enforcer.mdl
- /id1/progs/h_mega.mdl
For quake 1 re-release - Open pak0.pak using the program "PakScape" and drop the files into the folder "progs" with the replacement, then save the changes
- Pak0.pak/progs/enforcer.md5anim
- Pak0.pak/progs/enforcer.md5mesh
- Pak0.pak/progs/enforcer.lmp
- Pak0.pak/progs/h_mega.mdl
looks great, pity there's no before and after shot to properly compare though
there is a looped video comparing all 3 options
