As it turns out, some people didn't like the fact that the ProtoGalaxy demo was more difficult than the game itself. So, we've released an update to tone down the difficulty of the demo.
ProtoGalaxy Demo v1.0.7 includes an additional level, improved tutorial and difficulty, and all the latest features from ProtoGalaxy. The demo is available on ModDB, Steam and the Source Studio website. ProtoGalaxy is multiplayer space adventure. Up to 4 players can team up to win battles, solve puzzles and explore the galaxy. ProtoGalaxy pays tribute to days spent in arcades, when games were challenging and players teamed up to beat the next level or get the highest score.
And if you still find it hard, there's no shame in starting off on easy mode ;).

I've bought it accidentally, and at a start I was sceptic about it. It looks like crappy space shoot-em-up with a bad design and visuals. But OMG it is really awesome! Deep mechanics, descent gameplay and... bad visuals :(
and UI is from hell with all that hellish design giving frustration and constant "wtf?!?! how I'm supposed to use it?!?! what's that?!?! where to click?!?! wtf!?! I should better play some microsoft games in future. or bad UI'll kill me." - the game needs all-new UI, simple, useful and understandable UI. and maybe some facelift, but UI is the baddest one - it's very hard to use it. and maybe then this game (very very good one) will get enough players for me to go online.
I hope the gameplay will make a good impression - because your screenshots do! Tracking ;)
