Perpetuum is a new sci-fi MMORPG that revolves around mankind struggling for power on the distant planet of Nia inhabited by robotic lifeforms.
Its main features are a persistent, unsharded game world, fully customizable mechs and robots with hundreds of equipment items, open-world PvP and missions, player-controlled economy, extensive crafting and industry, dynamically changing environment and much more.
In the not-too-distant future, a strange anomaly opens the gates of the universe for humans. With this new technology, energy, information and atomic size objects can be transported to anywhere in space.The most intriguing of all new discoveries is an Earth-like planet, where humanity discovers a new source of energy, vital to its unbroken advancement. However, this planet is inhabited by a synthetic, robot-like life form. Their technology and resources are the goal of humanity's new conquest.Players may take part in various areas of the project. They may fight on the front lines for new territories, develop the already established infrastructure, trade goods or services, or even set their own goals and set up their own coprorations.

2010 November 9, Budapest - Avatar Creations Ltd. has today announced that after five years of development and eighteen months of beta testing, the persistent world Massively Multiplayer Online Game (MMO)
Perpetuum will officially be launched at 18:00 CET on the the 25th of November, 2010.
The upcoming game's client will be available as a free download, with pricing of 30 day subscriptions set at €8.95/$9.95 depending on the region. 30 day subscriptions go on sale on the 16th of November, with Early Access subscriptions available prior to that point.A media kit containing the launch trailer and new screenshots is available here
Players are welcome to have a free look at Perpetuum before the Open Beta phase ends at 18:00 CET on the 16th of November, 2010. Players with Early Access subscriptions will then be able to enter and play the game at 18:00 CET on the 18th of November, 2010, one full week before the official launch. Early Access subscriptions are currently available on the Perpetuum website (http://www.perpetuum-online.com) while the Open Beta phase lasts. These subscriptions, priced at the usual monthly fee of €8.95/$9.95 depending on the region, will include 7 days of playtime prior to the official launch, 30 days of normal playtime following launch, and 4 weeks of extra extension points.
In the sci-fi world of Perpetuum players engage in exploring the alien planet of Nia with huge robots. Remotely controlling these robots from Earth, players are thrown into a foothold situation where they need to build a stable economy while battling the natives and rogue human agents, all in order to supply Earth with precious energy.
Completely open, persistent, sandbox game world on a single-server
All the players in Perpetuum play in the same unsharded world, and the actions of players have permanent consequences which can only be changed by other players or the natural physics of the game world.
Highly scalable combat
Fights in Perpetuum can range from one on one to whole armies battling it out, and thousands of items and versatility of the game world guarantee no two fights will be alike.
Complex crafting system
Perpetuum features an advanced item crafting system ranging from mining raw materials and gaining knowledge to the mass production of items. Players will be able to reverse engineer technology found in the wild and even build special prototype items with the knowledge they amass over time.
Player driven market
All game systems in Perpetuum have been built to rely on each other, thereby creating constant supply and demand between the players of different specializations and encouraging dynamic trade between players.
Time based character progression
Experience in Perpetuum is gained over time on each active account, even when the player isn't logged in the game. Extension points gained this way can be used to immediately purchase skills on any character on the account.
A living world
The environment on Nia is one that is constantly changing. Plantlife grows unchecked while forests of alien vegetation are made into barren wastelands by large battles.
