The project lives on! Owlman is a survival horror game being developed in Crytek's CryENGINE FreeSDK. The features so far include:
-Terrifying gameplay
-HD textures and custom assets
-Intriguing storyline

Hi guys!
First of all, a huge apology to everyone for not posting any news for so long! When I first started this project I had barely had CryEngine for 2 weeks. I thought I had learned enough to make a game then, and posted it here, only to find it was much harder than it looked. Lesson learned: Making a game is neither a quick, nor an easy thing to do. Therefore I'm not gonna plan any release date soon, because this project highly depends on my free time and my knowledge of CryEngine.
I will keep posting screens and news as I progress, but sorry, I can't promise you this game will be released anytime soon. Please take into account, the games like SOMA or The Evil Within, are taking more than a year to be made, and there are teams of professionals working on them. Meanwhile here, it's just me.
NOW, THE PROGRESS:
I have spent this time learning this engine and probably now the development will go a little faster. So far I can bring you guys new screenshots of the work I have done so far.

As I said, it is still in very EARLY development. I'm waiting for CryENGINE to be updated with the source code. Only then I can continue building. But as soon as it's possible I'll let you know ;)
