Open-Source reimplementation of Westwood’s Command & Conquer: Red Alert game engine, updated to use the hardware acceleration of modern video cards using OpenGL and OpenAL for sound playback. It runs natively on Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. The game was designed with modifiability in mind, but is not identical to the original. Campaigns and mods made for the legacy game won't work out of the box.
A major focus of the upcoming releases is adding the missing pieces to the Dune 2000 mod.
I couldn't be more happy about this project. Carry all, I mean on ;)
worms need som,e kinmd of random respawn counter, as it is if they sit closely to your spice your screwed.
Don't worry, they have been nerfed to death in the playtests.
How so, exactly? Just curious
Reduced speed, reduced aggressiveness, they spawn less often, and most importantly - thumpers are now in the game, which counter the worms hard.
Was that ever a problem in the original D2K? o.o
No, worms were pretty bad in the original.
