Mokelé, The City of Giants is a pixel-art game inspired by such indie classic as Bastion, Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP and Hyper Light Drifter. Explore the mysterious city of Giants and find out what happened to them!

Story

You play as a homunculus, an artificially created human. You can't remember where you come from but you do know that your origins are somehow connected to the disappearence of the Giants, the benevolent rulers of the realm. You reach their capitol of Mokelé only to find out it overrun by hellish creatures. Now you have to fight your way through and discover the truth about both yourself and the fate of the Giants!

Gameplay

Each of the playstyles - Warrior, Mage and Acrobat - differs. Switching between them is instantaneous which gives the player a lot of freedom and space for improvising. Also, different strategies need to be applied depending on the enemy you face.

Each of the levels will have its own look, music, types of enemies, mini-bosses and bosses.

The game is still in alpha and is constantly being worked on and improved.
