M.I.N.T (Mecha, Infantry, and Tactics) is Kawe Weissi-Zadeh’s and Gregg Williams’s (Retromite) voyage into the ageless and chaotic realm of turn based wargaming. A spiritual blending of games like Battletech, Warhammer 40k, and Space Hulk. Ultimately, fused together and expanded by our own many years of turn based gaming, and a passion to build such a game that has burned for years. Currently in development on PC platforms, M.I.N.T will feature both single player campaigns, as well as in-depth multiplayer modes. An alpha release is expected during 2014.
So last time, we showed off some of the context sensitive cursors, and unit highlighting functionality. This update builds on to the last round, and adds unit marking to enemy units that can currently be attacked by your selected unit, and a expanded mouse over target locked animation.
In other unfortunate news, M.I.N.T progress is going to slow down or halt for awhile. Serious family health problems have developed that prevents me at the moment from doing any major development work. This could go on for a couple of months, but I'm hoping things will settle down some, and allow for the occasional progress to be made.
M.I.N.T user interface work, progresses forward, with initial HUD bits, tool tips, context sensitive mouse cursors, and more.
Ooh wow this looks like my kettle of fish.
Really nice! Keep up the good work!
