My brother found this when exploring...
Is this a bug? The whole are has walls that goes straight down like this, and look on that water wall...
Missing chunk, did you minecraft crash while generating the map, or was it like this when generated?
No crash...
I don't think an actual individual chunk is a piece that small anyway.

I have the same thing lol guess its just a little glitch, it still got me right into a cave network full of diamond which was great :D
Put all the blocks back, problem solved :D xD

Chunk Fail XD This has happened to me for some reason too o.O no idea what causes it. :P
I've been hosting a server for a while now and almost our entire world is like this. There's HUGE parts of the world that are just cut straight out like that. I should upload some images.
Half My World is Missing So this is Nothing Conpared to it
when i spot these it goes all the way to void and its much larger, sometimes its 2-4 of these in a row so its wide as hell.. and the sides are full of caves, coal and iron.
