Is this a bug? The whole are has walls that goes straight down like this, and look on that water wall...

Missing chunks, You probably had a bluescreen while generating the map? Because two days ago, i had a bluescreen while generating a map... It had missing chunks and that all over the map...
i occasionally get those but never that size
We have the same thing on our family server here. What's even MORE weird, is, my wife and I built some walkways and castle walls through and past the "missing" areas of the world and a few days later they seemed to pop back in. Where there were massive, rectangular holes in the world were now big hills. My poor, poor castle. O_o
