While seeking life on a distant planet, a skeptical astronaut discovers an abandoned Russian laboratory and suspects his mission is a hoax until a mysterious young woman saves him from a strange and deadly phenomenon... Scientists have now discovered over a thousand new planets orbiting other stars in our galaxy. Of these, at least 60 are comparable in size to the Earth, and a few are within the habitable zone of their star—meaning they could harbor life. What if you could explore one of those planets? Lifeless Planet will be a game that puts the adventure back into "action-adventure." Combining great graphics with a great story, Lifeless Planet aims to be a gaming experience in the spirit of classic games like ICO, The Dig, and Out of This World. Lifeless Planet is under development for PC, Mac and mobile platforms.

Lifeless Planet was under development for almost three years after a successful early Kickstarter project. I've worked hard to create a unique game experience that harkens back to action adventure games from years gone by. Combined with an old-school sci-fi story and beautiful environments, Lifeless Planet is an experience in the purest sense of the word. Really loved the game! I only wished it weren't as linear.
I have a couple of questions:
1) Is there a way to remove film grain? It's a useless effect and overclocks the computer.
2) Do those minerals you can collect actually give anything? Or are they just to encourage exploration?
3) Also about the minerals: is there some kind of guide as to their locations?
I really wish the game had some mods, or a spin-off, or something.
