L'entre Deux - ange et démon - est un jeu de plateformes en coopération où vous incarnerez, au choix, Barthélemy ou Lucius. Vous avez la possibilité de "switcher", c'est-à-dire échanger de place, car vous n'interagissez pas de la même manière avec les obstacles. Vous chercherez donc à atteindre vos portails respectifs. Barthélemy et Lucius avaient la fâcheuse tendance de se donner rendez-vous, en cachette, au bar de L'entre Deux. Cependant, une amitié ange/démon est le genre de relation qu'il vaut mieux garder secrète. Les deux espèces devaient avoir le moins de contact possible excepté pour le travail. C'est dans cette taverne qu'un soir, Dieu et Satan ont eu vent de leur amitié. Cela leur valu d’être bannis et envoyés sur Terre pour l'éternité... Bien que la situation fût dramatique, ce n'était pas leur première mésaventure. Ils décidèrent de tout faire pour rentrer chez eux.
