So we built this little game called Kozmic Blue for the YoYo Games Win Big Competition, and we finished as a Runner Up.
After the competition the idea was to put the game out on multiple platforms, and also add a few new features like a community level editor, and a public high score table, etc.
However, after looking at what we could do with GameMaker, we decided that we could not move forward with that tool. I will probably write a whole blog article one day on this subject, but to cut it short, GM fell short in a few key areas that drove us to this decision.
We really think this game is fun for the whole family, and we hope you follow the progress and leave comments and feedback.
