I may still make a variant, if enough people want it and Jlea allows me.. It would have to be jailbroken though and running whatever fictional OS will be running on the Desire, due to the fact it would take so much unnecessary work on reskinning the VGUI.
I was thing the Nexus One, purely because it wouldn't show favouritism to a particular handset (it's the google phone), but, like I said.. I have the HTC Desire and that makes all the difference when you are modelling something.

Yeah, As long the phone is used for it's designated purpose and not as a melee whacking device or remote detonator, it's the perfect product placement. I'd still contact HTC asking about their opinion, otherwise remove their logo or something like that.

Well this mod isn't for profit so I don't think they'll care or even find out about this for that matter. There are maps for Gmod that use the KFC logo and whatnot.

Hmm.. Phone in this pic and next picture is IED. Theres got to be connection. Some kind of mission? Perhaps you have to sell IED to resistance, so you get money to buy HTC phone. Then just recharge it somewhere and play Angry Birds. Yes, its gotta be.
