Surprise!
Nice model. The texture looks a bit clean and smooth though.
What is it with people and wanting the dirtiest textures for every model? I'm sure this particular operator and even your average looter is smart enough to perform regular maintenance and upkeep on a their weapons, I know I wouldn't trust a weapon very much if it was caked in dust.
Personally I love the clean look of some of the weapons. It's refreshing and gives the protagonist a more professional image.
He's only a reporter, last I checked. Maybe the perks added a new background.
The story has been changed around.
Actually it just makes things look off, you're in a desert with sand flying around and going through bushes firing your weapon and yeah, it tends to get dirty, it's very odd it looking THIS clean. Your comment is invalid.
Doesn't mean that it can't have smudge marks.
Looks a little bit of the TF2 textures!
The bottom of the receiver is the most plain looking part atm.
Add dust, dirt, fingerprints and some colour variation (only slight).
If done well you can still get a clean look but with a bit more visual interest.

It can be mounted on any side or on both, think it would look better on this side thogh, looks strange and empty.
usually the bolt is always on the opposite side from the shell ejection port so its kinda odd that its not visible here & presumably on the right side instead of the left. factory fresh FN SCARs always have the bolt on the left side. Yes it is possible to have it put on the right side but still its kinda odd unless the previous owner was left handed.
yep, otherwise right handed shooters (the majority) have to start left handed to pull the bolt then switch to firing position.
Doesnt matter to me though, looks good. Maybe a few simple scratches to give it a slightly used look, but either way looks fine.

You made an exelent model...again.
The plastic needs some normal maps and the the lower reciever is lacking in detail: notably, the selector text and some pins are missing. Also, the model and serial number is missing from the upper reciever, as is the fence around the mag release on the lower reciever. The gun itself also seems thin, but that may just be the FOV.
Also, there is a flare on the bottom of the magwell that is missing in this model.
Leave the weapon clean. It would look weird dirty, also keep the AK74 clean, its pretty.

FNH promo images always have the bolt on the right side, but the bolt can be on either side.

I know it will sound like i'm a CODMW2 nerd(not any more its all about KILLZONE2 NOW!!) but when I saw the picture before i clicked on it I thought it was a picture from MW2 on wasteland LOL 1st thing it made me thing of since the grass and the rest of the enviroment looks similar.
You're pretty right there, and that's an amazing achievement for the developers of this here mod here over there, yonder.
And now that you've said it (despite my hate for the game), it does look equal in graphical quality.
