As we near the end of our Getting INT-Depth series we wanted to give you a taste of the various sounds you will encounter in the INT universe. We will also talk about the music and sound genres found in INT as well as the history behind its personality. Special thanks to Harry Pepe IV, Sound lead, for taking the time to sit down with and tell us everything there is to know about the sounds of INT!
If you are a newcomer, make sure to check out our previous installments of Getting INT-Depth here to learn more exciting information about the upcoming game INT, produced by Starboard Games.
One Man Sounding Board
Harry Pepe is one of INT’s most tenured team members and has been the sound director for quite some time. Harry has been making music since high school, and like most artists draws his inspiration from various sources of content. His favorite are most notably Ocarina of Time and World of Warcraft which are both well known for their musical prowess.
If you are interested in more of Harry's music, check out his website at www.ivscore.com.
As you navigate throughout INT you are going to hear orchestral sounds, with very heavy influences from string and drum instruments. All of course will be spun with Harry’s own interpretation to match the sci-fi themed world you will be experiencing. Add the ambient sounds splashed with some electronic music and be exposed to the final level of entertainment hitting your senses that facilitate a fully immersed gameplay experience.
Listen to a taste of what is in store from the music of INT.

Ambient Water Drips
Lastly here is some of our sound effects. Arguably the most tedious, but also important, part of adding sound to a game as syncing up sound to a visual effect needs to be very precise. The slightest miss-alignment is immediately noticeable and a lot of work has gone into matching these up.
Hover Tank Moving
Explosive Combat Mine
ACP Mech Walking
Closing Out, with a tease
This concludes our visit in the world of sound in INT. As mentioned above we are almost done with our Getting INT-Depth series and hope you enjoy them. As always please let us know your feedback; we love hearing from you.
