It's mostly based on some other simulations that I always loves with their large terrains. So I created a simulation that also has such a large terrain, this time in 3D, with day/night cycle, shaders and real time shadows. Also I am planning on adding a real complex economic system. The world around you will grow with you. Towns are able to build their own new streets/buildings and commodity industries will upgrade themselves when reaching enough founds. You are able to produce and sell a wide variety of products in 10 different product types. (Toys,Sport,Furniture...) Also there are 4 different types of vehicles to transport your goods (Street,Rail,Water,Air) in the nearest town to make some profit. And of course there are still many more features that are planned like multiplayer. The game is still in an early alpha phase, but if you want to support the game, you are able to buy an access to the early alpha on the main site.

We have finally made it due the help of a lot of supporters and want to thank everyone who helped us come this far!
I also want to thank Groupees from Groupees.com to help us moving through the Greenlight phase of Steam. After one month we were finally greenlit and were able to move on to build a steam version of the game.
Everything took a bit longer as expected but we are now available on Steam EA: Store.steampowered.com

just 2 ugly facts:
1. the graphics are even worse than in IG2 and looks pretty similar to OTTD(open transport tycoon deluxe)
2. no multiplayer?! are you kidding?!
1. Alpha stage, I don't see similarities between OTTD and this...
2. Who cares about MP.. it's over rated. Whatever happened to good ol' SP fun
1. Don't think so at all. I don't know when you last played IG 2 but it's only 2D and no shadows/lights/dynamic daylight/and even more.
2. Multiplayer will be comming at some point, but as you might not know it is still an Alpha Version

2. it pretty sure is an alpha and i know about that, don't worry, but why haven't you just listed it as single and multiplayer game, so interested players could see that it at least is planned?
Well for me, I hate the free building. In the end there is so much free space everywhere and you have to demolish half of your buildings to build a new bigger one, just because new building is 2 pixels to big for the space.
And the grid is not for looks but for easy playing, in the beginning there was not a grid and it was horrible to play.
Well each his own ;)
At some point I will add multiplayer in the description, but for now there is just a plan for it. Too much people would ask each week when multiplayer would be comming. And there is so much else to do before.
