Grotesque Tactics: Evil Heroes is an ironic, story intensive fantasy RPG with tactical elements. It's a refreshing mix of elements from both western and asian RPGs which can be compared to tactical RPGs like Kings Bounty, Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy Tactics, Fallout 2 and Jagged Alliance.

Man what a terrable game.

I only killed on mushroom so far and I do not even want to play anymore.

To get as far as I have gotten will take you atleast 1 hour of reading.

Thats right.... READING an endlese rambeling that IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO BEING FUNNY.

Without the dialog my progress would have taken all of 3 seconds.

You move 3 feet, and they have some other stupid things to say. They talk about absolutely NOTHING!

What a waste of time, and bandwidth.

Flatface was right! "try again!"

It's an RPG. RPGs aren't FPS... The point isn't finishing the game, its the story of the game. Besides, there's absolutely no need to be so offensive to other commenters who agree with you. Calling someone "flatface" based on their profile pic is totally uncalled for.

Couldn't play it. and judging from the reviews thus far, sounds like it isn't quite worth the trouble. Try again.

You don't get it - there is no reason to limit digital distribution sales. 10$ is 10$ no matter from where it comes, be it China, USA, South Africa or Russia.

Another thing is I could buy this game on Steam right away, it is 'available in my region' there. Anyway - my point is - in the digital world there are no artificial regions.

I wouldn't worry this game has not had many kind reviews or opinions of it tbh, i guess some companies prefer those ppl in other regions to get the gaem some other way which is just counter productive for a buisness.

Somehow I doubt the game company willingly decided they didn't want the most amount of people possible buying it. Maybe there is some kind of licensing problem on their end, or maybe they filled the form out badly, I dunno.

I realise the hands can be tied by other factors but i still find it boggling why any buisness would limit themself in such a way, there is no valid reason for doing so even if they say "Ohh we don't have support in that region sorry" i ahve read excuses such as this and well the internet doesn't ahve regions only limitations imposed by (backward thinking) bean counters.

The business reasons behind this are usually because certain areas are used to paying more for games, so they can charge more. Take the US vs UK, for instance- $10 is $10 no matter where it comes from, but if you region lock it, you can charge US $10 and the UK 10 pounds, which is a bigger sum. Again, usually only the big guys have the gall / resources to do that.
