Frontier Fighter is a 2D top-down Shoot-em-Up, inspired more by the likes of the classic Asteroids, rather than Space Invaders. It's not "arcade-style", featuring stylized but realistic physics and collisions, destructible ship parts instead of one hit kills, and responsive enemy AI in place of predetermined motion patters. The final game will have an Infinite Mode for endless top-down space shooter action, as well as a variety of stages with exiting boss fights and a few minigames! It's all built in the Unity3D game engine, utilizing the latest 2D framework from version 4.3.
