Jack Carver is cursing the day he ever came to this island. A week ago Valerie, a brash newspaper reporter, offered him an incredible sum of cash to sail her to this unspoiled paradise; but shortly after docking he was greeted by artillery fire from a mysterious militia group swarming over the island. SOLDIER beta 7 - January 2008. This mod tries rework Far Cry in order to make it better. As in more visceral and harder hitting...and 'better', by some vaguely defined standard which Robert-33 has decided upon. This is what it 'does': Cloaking. Slow Motion. Melee. (for the MP5) Quicksaving. + other misc stuff. Changes since beta 6:: Added pushing. Altered gravity when slow-motion. Fixed cloaking shader changing look between maps. Can remain cloaked--and slo-motion works--underwater now. Altered power use of Slo-motion and Cloaking. Bullets now pierce more surfaces. Added quicksaving confirmation. Made slo-motion and cloaking behave better. Partially overhauled 'Dam'. Disabled hud during slow-motion. Altered mutant rocket speed and range + added lighting. Added visual red-tone blur critical health indication. Actually fixed battery settings this time. Removed method of getting a few seconds of cloak, even when battery was too low. + other misc script changes.

When the game is running in opengl, the
framerate is much more controllable. Try
it.
