Story
In a land far, far away, three magical beings lived together in harmony.
The Wood Elves tended the forest and the nature. The Bearfolk used their skills as blacksmiths to provide the people with tools and equipment.
And the Guardians, who were the spirits of an ancient civilization, guided and protected all living beings. But the harmony came to an end when an evil plague started to spread throughout the north part of the land, corrupting the forest and everyone living there.
For a long time terrible battles raged between the corrupted in the north and those who had not yet been infected. Eventually the people in the south managed to push back the corrupted to the far north. The forest however, is still to this day infected with the plague.
Rifts have been built near the border to teleport warriors, who observe the spreading of the
plague and protect the healthy part of the land against enemies still lurking in the forest.

a RTS game in a fantasy setting. Control 3 different unit types, capture nodes and buff your units to victory by destroying the enemy Rift!
Developed by ManyHat that was founded during our time at The Game Assembly. We had a 5 week deadline. As much as we wanted to add more features we had to scrap alot of ideas to meet the deadline. This is our own engine. Hope you enjoy it!
You can reach us here or on our facebook page.
Since we do not make games together anymore we recommend you use facebook for support but please read this first:
REQUIRES A DX11 GRAPHICS CARD TO PLAY
Got a DX11 supported graphics card and still can't play?
Find your debug logger in your game dir and post it here or on our facebook page. Facebook recommended
Features
A skirmish map
Tutorial
3 unit types
Buffs for all units
Even though we felt confident the game would be done in time it was still stressful the last days before deadline... as always. The final touches made a huge difference and even the most uncommon bugs seems to be fixed. I cannot say anything else than that I'm proud of what we achieved in just a couple of weeks.
Try the game out and keep supporting us here and on www.facebook.com/manyhat
Time to down a few beers and get some sleep!
The deadline is getting close and ManyHat needs you! Final testing and tweaking.

I liked the graphical presentation of it, the controls were easy to use. The mechanics of it are very simple and yet challenging enough. The only downside was that it only had 1 skirmish map. Which understanding they had a very short deadline you would expect such.
But now since the dead line has been met, could this become a bigger project?? Would love to see some more levels or even a campaign.
Either way, very good work and hope to see more from you guys.
Cool thanks again for your comment!
Personally I would love some multiplayer and competitive play along with a shorter campaign but we're not working together anymore. We all ended up at different companies after Lair of the Madhat. So you will see more from us but not as a group :)
This game has a singleplayer campaign right?
it contains a skirmish map
Cool awesome! I hope you can do an SP campaign for this. It looks great!
The game looks great, but I cannot launch it. Runtime error.
What kind of graphics card do u have?
Really like the game, Nice graphics. Would really love to see a map editor though.
As a level designer for this project I would love to see a map editor too, hehe :D Nah we had to take into account that we only had 5 full weeks for this. The editor we had was mostly for placing props, lightning and making particles. The terrain we made in world machine. The nodes, resources and all that we scripted in LUA and XML. Would have taken too much time to combine this into an editor. Glad you liked it!
er dere norsk? :O
We're Swedish :)
