Future plans

• Try to release the first 5 albums for DooM 1
• Find a way to add MP3 versions instead of MIDI's. (Note these will not be full on tracks from the album as that's pretty much just stealing. They'll be audio of a program reading sheet music.)
• Maybe try to add some more metal bands, I have a few ideas.

Release

So today is Master of Puppets's 34th anniversary, so to celebrate I thought I release the remastered version, here's a few changes to this file.

1: 4 WADS (Remastered, Album Order & Berserk, Inc Tour)

To explain each WAD as best as I can.

1-Remastered: After a long time I finally found a way to make the songs sound more like DooM (As close as I could at lest)

2-Album Order: The name gives it away but basically Episode 3's music is in order of the Master of Puppets album

I'll explain the other 2 WAD's in their own section.

2:Removed Vocal WAD due to memory limit

Sadly due to the amount of memory needed in order to hold everything I had to remove the Vocal WAD's, this doesn't mean that they'll be gone forever but for now they are no longer part of the file.

3: Berserk, Inc Tour

To make up for removing the Vocal WAD's, long time of not updating the WAD and for the 34th anniversary I give you Berserk, Inc Tour.

Berserk, Inc Tour plays Metallica's music like a setlist, each level you play through will have a different song to it. It's based of setlists from Damage, Inc Tour.

There's 2 WAD's

Side 1 (Cliff - Jason): This replaces music from Episode's 1 to 3

Side 2 (Jason - Cliff): Replaces music from Episode 4

This also gives you a chance to listen to remastered songs from Slay 'Em All and Ride The Plasma that will be released with their albums when the time comes.

4: Fully remastered MIDI's

One of the great things about this WAD is the fact that they sound more close to DooM's classic sound than what was made before. Tho one of the many reasons why this file is so big is because in order to capture the DooM sound I had to convert the files from MIDI into MP3. Tho if you want a higher quality for Master of Demons. 5: FLAC versions

One of the other reasons for this file being so big is the fact I also put a folder in there with all the FLAC versions, for people who want to listen to the MIDI covers when not killing demons or just want to listen to it offline. Of course if you don't want this folder you can simply delete the folder and all it's contents. No hard feelings. Another reason why these are here is for people who want a higher quality WAD so if you know how to make music WAD's you can make a FLAC version WAD. Tho there's no plans to make Berserk, Inc Tour FLAC's.

Future plans

At this point I think the WAD is done, I've released the Tour and fully remastered tracks like I wanted. I even put FLAC's in for people who want to listen to the music offline. I've done everything I've wanted for this WAD.

DooM: Master of Demons Reissue March 27th 2021

Release

I wanted to release this on Master of Puppets's 35th anniversary, but instead it's released on the tour's anniversary. Hopefully this still works for everyone.

1: 4 New WADS (Pure MIDI)

To explain this WAD as best as I can.

I had the idea to release pure MIDI versions of the songs for anyone who knows how to use different soundfonts and wants to listen to Metallica with a different font.

2: Removed FLAC Files, Replaced With MP3s

I've removed the FLAC files, main reason being because it made the file way bigger than it needed to be and FLAC & MP3 in this case sound very much the same. I'm sorry to everyone for not updating this sooner. I hope what I've added will make up for this poor choice.

Future plans

There's not much left for this WAD, I've tried to make it as great and easy for everyone. I hope this update will make up for the poor FLAC choice I made. Thank you all for your support and I hope you enjoy the new WAD. Happy Slaying.
