Uptate 1:

-more faithfull sound design
still woking on that damn helmet
Uptate 2:
Here's my final uptate, as I have no more intrest developping this mod any further due to severe lack of skill required in programing and animations:
-Finally restored the player's helmet unsing a modified version of Arl's improvement pack (full credits to it's original autor) it will first appear when getting the pistol for the first time and wont leave your side from the rest of the game.
known issue: dosn't shows in mirrors for some reason, no idea how to fix.
- A fully working e3 2002 Hud
-polishing features and fixing bugs
-Significantly reduced the amount of shotgun shells scattered around the levels.
And that's about it, if anyone is intrested in taking this project into theirs hands and continue it's developpement, please let a message in the comments sections.

Dude this mod kicks butt! I love it! It nearly replicates the alpha. The only thing that's not here is the animations, which you addressed. You could try recreating the original animations
okay, so this might help, but there is a thread about people who were able to convert the alpha shotgun animations. It tells you exactly what to do: Doomworld.com
Thank you so much, with this I could do so much once I learn how to properly work with this
bro the doom3 alpha the doom guy wears a helmet and the light is coming off his helmet not his ''shoulder'' lol it's centered not off to the side and there is head sway when he turns also.
actuallt play the alpha and check out how the flashlight actually is.
I cannot continue the campaigne throught the empro plant, and the chaingun zombies do not spawn normally, they are small black cubes on the floor. Finally, the backpacks drop me out from the levels. Somebody know solution?
