“D.feat the Silence” it’s a 2.5D camera-based action-platformer, beat’em up game with some music and sound-related features. Our main character will be a young musician who will overcome his difficulties and struggles with the power of music, these will be translated into our main game mechanics. The character will use a few instruments that he can play at his will, and this will be his main way of attacking and defending in game. The character will have to fight different types of enemies, depending on the enemy type, only a certain selected instrument will be able to defeat them since each instrument will have a different type of attack. This game is aimed to be a single-player experience like you have never seen with an intriguing story capable of captivating the player's interests with overall good player immersion moments.

Attacks


The "Ghosts" in our game will help Dylan play his newfound instruments and how to attack with them, each ghost has a color and a different type of instrument.

Attack_Colliders


This picture represents how the attacks colliders will look like.



We already used some holographic effects to test how it would look when we bring the instruments out of nowhere, these change in color to match the weapon type.

The following animations and models are from Mixamo so that we can produce tests while building our own characters and animations.
