I'm surprised by the mixed to negative comments on here, I think this a wonderful remake! šŗ
Having played both the 2005 original and this version, there is one thing lacking that I thought the new developers would have fixed and that is poorly implemented controller vibration. There is so little of it that I honestly thought it was off. It only seems to be on when Crypto is blowing things up in his saucer. When vibration is properly done it really adds to the immersion.
When Crypto is on the ground you get nothing, leaving the gameplay feeling oddly flat. If a mod could be done that could fix this it could really save the game and make it the classic it deserves to be.
honestly im fairly annoyed at the "holobob" rather than "body snatch" but i do think it feels fairly like it did back then, i feel the gameplay holds up, i was playing number two a couple days ago on ps2 and that felt similar apart from the obvious controller feeling different, thats hardware not software so dont count
The game has little to no mod support. That'd require new scripts entirely, which is a little too much too add to the game. Besides, the game's clearly made to be played with KB+M based off my console experience, and KB+M has never had vibration. It's not that big of a loss.

I see, yeah, does seem a lot of hassle. After playing it again, it's not the game it once seemed to be. Compared to what's around now it all feels a bit simplistic. There are bigger and better titles on the horizon (Zero Dawn next week) that warrant my attention far more.
I'll keep this around if I get bored waiting for Cyberpunk. Cheers for the input though.
