This is a great game, and mods are really necessary for it. I hope people are still interested into modding it.

lol. It's dead for years. Releasing SDK is totally meaningless after community vanished. It's now beating dead horse.

Someone who says that shouldn't be playing games.. no passion.. also no such thing as beating a dead horse in modding.. what about Arx Liberatis, HRP Duke, Brutal Doom, Hexen 2 Soureports etc etc etc

you talk nonsense. If there is no community left, then modding for who? For myself? LOL. Besides, I remember that I gave it a shot since I know hammer but some j*rks put a trojan in the package.(YES!) Not sure this version has or not. Be warned.

Well I remember Dark Messiah as a game where I would always be able to find a game, no matter when. Sure there may be only one or two servers with people on it, but I never saw no one playing this game. Not to mention that the recent humblebundle introduced new people to the game.

From what I remember the console version had an extra map. It will be great if someone introduce that map(at list) to the pc version.

Would be nice with a demo, how to make this work. Is it possible to open up a map from dark messiah in the mod.?

Also I guess it works the same way as the hammer editor. So we need to have dark messiah and steam installed and then work form there. like the guide for hammer says.

Has anyone used this yet? It seems very small compared to the SDK's in the tools section on steam. But I've never touched them or looked before so I have no idea if the size is because it has all the files to it for the ones in the steam tools. I think I read somewhere that the SDK copies all or most of the files from the Dark Messiah folder into it's own thing. I'm guessing the size would be because of that. But... I'd rather have someone elses opinion on the file before I try working it out.

I am interested to play mods for this game. It's a great game even now. For me the most important thing to a game is the storyline, and this one have an interesting one...

How do i mod this game with NifSkope or ModLab software?

Nifskope is for Bethesda based engines. Dark Messiah runs on Valve’s source engine. Modlab generates normals which I would assume you’d use for meshes, which should be made in Blender/3dsmax/Maya and then exported using a source engine plugin.
