Dark Ascent was created using the Unity engine and its powerful 2D tools, and features dark and beautiful 2D graphics, inspired by the creations of Tim Burton, and the games Limbo and Badland. Also, Dark Ascent uses a realistic physics system for Bloomy, the character hanging on the balloon, so it can interact with anything that touches it!
The game includes more than 30 different challenges in an always randomized order, and features connection to Apple’s Game Center and Google Play Games, which enables you to compete every other player of the game in the world.
Bloomy, the main character, has different skins available on purchase with in-game coins, each one with a unique perspective on acclaimed pop culture characters. Also, there are more skins being developed and released in the near future.
