These are truly amazing news. However, since the EA is behind this, I can't trust them. After the destruction of the Westwood, Pandemic and a lot of other great companies, they lost all of my hopes, many years before most of the other people started seeing how bad they are. Plus their terrible BF3/4/1 Premium Passes for BF3, BF4, BF1 and also the Microtransactions, Loot Boxes, and other ********, still being pushed, its quite easy to see that they care only for the money. So, I don't see any reason to believe that the EA, will be on the site for us gamers.

BTW: I do hope this comment will not be deleted, since I don't want to report it, multiple times.

For now. The Activision also haven't mentioned them before release, and after they released BO4, they added it, after most of the reviewers have reviewed the game already: Youtube.com

Instead, of doing that before the release, they are doing it after the release. So, these things will not be mentioned in any review, and they can have some good points from naive people. Unfortunately, most of the people are like that, so that's why these companies have so much money.

No MTX mentioned before release?

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Bringing Back Microtransactions With COD Points
"The Battle.net listing indicates that they’ll be added “at a later date,” though it’s not specified as to when."

"The Battle.net listing notes that COD Points may not be available at launch, but rather added at a later date"

You can't say they snuck in MTX when they mentioned them before. It was expected.

That doesn't surprise me a bit, since when Activision saw how much EA made money, with the stupid microtransactions in a lot of their games around 2010 and also with the BF3 Premium Pass. Which was also in the BF4 and BF1, but surprisingly it seems that it's not in BF5, which still has the microtransactions so they will eventually get a lot of money anyway.

However, the point with the reviewers still stands, since if it's not in the game it will not be mentioned. So, even if they will be later added, there are not in the reviews. And even if they would be there, one can say that it's to be deterred, if they will add them. Furthermore, it's crystal clear, that they will add that, since that brings a ton of money to them.

Also, why have you disliked my two comments?

The MTX in Battlefield V are purely for cosmetics. In other words, you cannot pay for progression. You do not have to pay more money unless you really want that cosmetic item. Does the MTX have a game changing impact that makes BFV pay to win? No. Are you forced to pay for MTX in BFV? No. Are there any non-cosmetic content locked behind MTX in BFV? No.

Or you just don't want them to make money at all. The gaming industry has evolved to MTX and it is here to stay until the next big thing. It is a system that works and statistics don't lie. Anyone who complains about it is a vocal minority.

I know, but it's still a ********. In Dawn of War series (2004-2015), you had a very nice army painter, and you could do all of these things for free. There is a lot of other games, which had things like this, but the Dawn of War is one of the best examples, if not the best one. Maybe you are a really rich person, so you don't much care about it, but there will be one day, when even you will not be able to afford it, since of those ridiculous prices. Also, this video summarized it pretty well: Youtube.com

And no, I'm not a huge fan of Jim Sterling, since there is definitely some stuff to criticize him. However, the term: ***It's Just Cosmetic*** has been a ******** because it is. Electronic Arts has so much money that, even if they would donate 50% to the local schools, hospitals and roads, they could still earn that money back in the next few years. Not only with their DLCs (which are good days now), Microtransactions, Loot Boxes (even if they say that the) and now even the Pre-Order Early Access Releases, which is probably the worst. At the time, when most of the games are broken, and it's best to wait at least a year or two, and after that play them, some people are paying to be a beta tester? And yes, I know it's not a beta, since Betas these days are the same as final releases.

Also, I fully disagree with the evolution of the gaming industry. That's not an evolution, but a completely different thing, since gaming industry 20 years ago, was a way better place back then. Now, the AAA publishers would want us, to pay them just for playing their games a bit sooner, even if there is absolutely no difference if I'm going to play the game two weeks (BF5 pre-order ********) before release or now.
