Prepare to unleash the absolute latest in modern weapons technology against the world's most powerful Generals in Command & Conquer Generals: Zero Hour. In the next era of military strategy and might, you'll need to command a more technologically advanced arsenal to defeat new, more powerful enemies.
This is a widescreen update for C&C : Generals - Zero Hour. C&C Generals Zero Hour: Widescreen Unzip GAMEDATA.INI into your "Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour\Data\INI" folder. (typically under Program Files) Edit MaxCameraHeight to adjust the FOV. Default setting is 310. Setting it to 410 is approximately the same as a 4:3 monitor, and 510+ gives you a widescreen advantage.
I installed it exactly as directed and nothing changed...
Hi, While it did increase the camera height it didn`t change the resolution. So frustrated that apparently changing the resolution of the Origin version of Generals and Zero Hour seems to be impossible.....
Just go to User\Doc...\C.&C.Gen\Something.ini and change res there.
theres no resolution there.
From Stack Exchange
Inside your My Documents folder, you will find a Command and Conquer Generals Data folder
Inside this folder you will find a file called Options.ini, edit this file
Find the line that says Resolution = and change the value from whatever it is to whatever you want
For example, for a resolution of 1600x900, you will want to set the Resolution = line to Resolution = 1600x900.
