In a world left with no politicians, diplomats, or activists, only the Generals remain. Thank you for your participation over the last few months in the Command & Conquer closed alpha test. It’s been much appreciated, and you’ve been instrumental in helping define what a new Command & Conquer experience should and shouldn’t be.
Part of being in a creative team is the understanding that not all of your choices are going to work out. In this case, we shifted the game away from campaign mode and built an economy-based, multiplayer experience. Your feedback from the alpha trial is clear: We are not making the game you want to play. That is why, after much difficult deliberation, we have decided to cease production of this version of the game. Although we deeply respect the great work done by our talented team, ultimately it’s about getting you the game you expect and deserve.

We believe that Command & Conquer is a powerful franchise with huge potential and a great history, and we are determined to get the best game made as soon as possible. one of EA's biggest mistakes is canceling this game
I hope that there will be a COMMAND & CONQUER GENERALS REMAKE.
My Games of C%C Generals and Zero hour will not load it keep saying error DirectX error but they were working until just a couple of weeks prior My Computer is only about 10 months Old

Its a scam, if the file was the real Generals 2, it would be a lot bigger and the file that you downloaded has a troyan virus (it happened to me with BO3) DO NOT download i repeat; DO NOT download from that site or any other similar sites.

i think this version far away about C&C General root story,zero hour is best of the best storyline,visual and realistic effect,for me C&C General and Zero hour the best strategy game in the world, and full respect to all Modder YoU are the best creator to make this game still alive..i play this game many years ago and still playing for now..
