Blaze is a retro/minimalistic styled sci-fi first person flight/shooter action game. The game can be played almost single handedly with just mouse. It's about shooting a lot of alien things (in semi-randomized missions?). The alien things are trying capture all your base, and have already captured at least half of it. You have to defend the base and capture the alien controlled areas back. Or something like that...

So, if this is going to be something like Abuse in first person, then how about some Abuse weapons. This is the starting weapon, the one that shot those red beams.

Yea, I was thinking of creating the tutorial level in some form. Maybe so that the sideview in Abuse would turn into topview in this.. but also have height changes where the original level has height changes.
And about weapons... I think I'll model the trigger/trigger guard. It was a bit annoying to texture them with those earlier weapon models.
Also the weapons could have alternate firemodes, and I'd probably combine some of them.. and have some weapons that weren't in Abuse.
All weapons will also have much longer range than in Abuse..
