Blaze is a retro/minimalistic styled sci-fi first person flight/shooter action game. The game can be played almost single handedly with just mouse. It's about shooting a lot of alien things (in semi-randomized missions?). The alien things are trying capture all your base, and have already captured at least half of it. You have to defend the base and capture the alien controlled areas back. Or something like that...
Generic placeholder model for ammo. Different ammo types get different colors/text. These models will be eventually replaced when I do the "real" models. It's possible some weapon would continue to use these models.
68 tris for Big. 28 tris for Small. Both on the same 128x128 texture.
It should also be easier to try out different ammo amounts for the items, and then the "real" models could have some visuals for how much ammo they give.. and what size to make the models.
so do all guns use the same ammo counter?
No, these are just placeholders.. the texture is also a placeholder. So it would say "Rockets" and have different colors for the Rockets.
I figure it'll take 5 mins to change the colors/text, so I don't immediately have to spend a few hours for ammo pickups after making a new weapon.. or to cheat ammo.
Mmm. Looks like railgun ammo to me. Like you could break off a chunk stick in the gun and blam!
I was thinking about peanut butter. Heh.
Not sure if I'll bother changing the detailing in the "ammo parts" for different ammo types.
If these were non placeholder models, then it would make sense for the small to give 8 ammo.. the big fitted 6 of the small boxes inside.. so it could give 40.
