Blaze is a retro/minimalistic styled sci-fi first person flight/shooter action game. The game can be played almost single handedly with just mouse. It's about shooting a lot of alien things (in semi-randomized missions?). The alien things are trying capture all your base, and have already captured at least half of it. You have to defend the base and capture the alien controlled areas back. Or something like that...

Half the weapons textured with some textures. I'll improve them sometime later... Next step is texturing the other half of the weapons.
There were some few tweaks in the models too.

Mmm. Seem to have a quake 2 flavor there - we likes it. That thing on the top looks like part flame thrower, part particle cannon.
Heh, almost everyone has said them looking something like Q2 :)
The thing at the top will fire a large fireball that will burn everything in its path. I think it will also bounce from walls.
The red weapon will be sort of like a flame thrower: it will shoot some short range plasma beam that burns through enemies.
I'll write more about the weapons in the next news post...
