New photos from our upcoming game, Biolab plus the interview we gave to the Greek video games blog AL.I.V.E.
We have been featured in the Greek video games blog AL.I.V.E. as the team of the month for October 2013.
Check the final look of 2 of BioLAB viruses. How they looked in various stages of development and how they will look in the final game.

What is with the sudden "busty babe" Moddb.com approach? The male scientists can have proper lab safety clothing and equipment but she can't because "Our stupid target audiance won't buy our game if they don't see boobs"? So the philosophy behind the game design so far is that: "This game has already got very questionable concept art ( Moddb.com ) so why don't we throw in some good ol' fashioned sexism with it as well?"
What where you thinking exactly? It's 2013, and games/gamers still get a bad reputation because of sh*t like this. This is really not okay.
Take examples from fellow indie developers who had a smarter view of this: Moddb.com
Your comments are very harsh and i don't agree with you at all.First of all let me be clear about this.I was never a fun of busty babes in games. For me its a cheap way to draw in male audience like you don't have faith in your game otherwise. One reason i liked the new Tomb Raider game was because finally we wouldn't see a big breast Lara jumping around. And i can give you many more examples of the same.
So why we chose to make the secretary like that?Because its in the mood of the game and it has a purpose to be like that.We didn't make her this way as a cheap marketing trick. Our game is designed to have a cartoonish and goofy style and by showing her like this is in the mood of the game.In no serious laboratory you would see someone dressed like this but this is the point. Our game is not serious!!!Everything we design from scientists,to characters to even viruses have very small connection with reality.
Questionable concept art?If you are going to judge final art i would be ok with it since i respect everybody's opinion but to show me a picture that is concept and tell me it is questionable then you don't know how the design process works. There is a reason why its called concept.
Yes it is 2013 and i can give you example of successful games that have sexism but have succeeded because of their game play not because how much they were showing. You have clearly not understood the feeling of our game.I would suggest you first try our game when it is ready and after pass judgement of something like this.
Thank you for your support
We will have more to announce soon...
This is an interesting idea, gonna track this.
