This is an expansion pack for Battle for Middle Earth II. It adds new armies such as Arnor & Angmar and has many new expanded heroes and units. The game focuses on the Return of the Witch King to power after the fall of Sauron in the second age. In his new arrival Arnor is losing its blood and is scrabbling over Rhuadar, Arthedain and Cardolan.
A small mod that does a lot to re-balance the game's mechanics. See full details for the complete list of changes.
Readme File:
1 - Fully automated installer. It de-installs previous versions, installs the new one and has an activate/de-activate option in the start menu to restore to regular 1.06 mode when you feel like it, all without ever requiring you to mess with files.
2 - Updated English tooltips (strings) file by Rainmaker. Installed optionally after the main Bt2DC install, only for English language installs.
3 - A full new 1v1 tournament-style map following the molds of Fords of Isen II but with a twist - Ankh Morpork. By YidArmy1885, balance and flow re-design by MaDDoX.
Buckland also got some nice changes that should please the tower haters. Not to mention the usual balance improvements and bugfixes extravaganza that you've come to expect from every Battletest release.

- Mechanical siege weapons (Trebuchet, Ballista, Stone Thrower, Mordor Catapult and Dwarven Catapult):

- Transport Ship speed increased to 90 (from 70).
- Fixed mistake in CaH attribute modifiers for Battle Rage and Berserker Rage which gave a higher armor bonus at level 1 than levels 2, 3, and 4 (essentially being reversed). This will affect Azog, as he shares the level 3 CaH Battle Rage modifier values (he now gets a 40% armor bonus from 30%).
- Command sets and upgrade slots standardized for each faction (e.g. upgrade slots for particular upgrades identical for different units).
- Fire logic removed from all weapons that can start a fire (except for the CaH Oil Spill).
- Unit-specific abilities (e.g. Barbed Arrows, etc.) now correctly work when multi-selected.
- Mini-hero hordes:
