Aztez is the marriage of turn based strategy and deep beat 'em up combat. Set in the world of the Precolumbian Mesoamerica at the birth of the Aztec civilization, you will take control of the burgeoning political power and turn it into the most incredible empire that the western half of the planet has ever seen. Manage the empire and establish income from a high level, and then utilize real time beat 'em up gameplay to address the various political events the regularly occur in the empire.

Hell, this concept has a whole lot of potential! I really hope that the turn-based strategy part won't be to "static". In fact I don't really like turn-based strategy games but there were vital concepts in other great games like Rise of Nations and Rise of Legends which didn't seem overloaded in my opinion. They just combined interesting aspects and merged it into a great management system.
However, it would be interesting to see different eras in this game. For example in the far future with atztec-looking robots, weapons and structures in the background. This would make it more diverse and dynamic.
Great work so far, I really can't wait to see the final product of you guys!
I'm glad you detect some potential. I am also not a big strategy game kind of person, but I like the idea of using a simplified strategy system to serve as a vehicle for exciting combat. I think you'll be pleased with what we cook up for you. ;)

Amazing work man! I love the art style and the depth of the combat was especially impressed when you said that you're having multiple weapons.
Do more posts! Keep up the great work!
Thanks a bunch! We'd like to have 4 distinct weapons in there but we'll see how it goes once it gets down to the wire.
