Reminds me of those fuzzy scratching posts you can buy for cats. :p
The screenshot of the level in general looks pretty fantastic. However the only problem I have with it is the stretched texture(s) in the background.

is that sonic i see in the bottom left hand corner, there are two sonics in the picture.
