Advanced Invaders is an action-packed arcade 2D shoot 'em up, based on the ancient classic, Space Invaders. The game includes a campaign and an unlockable game mode, and aliens come in form of various standard spacecraft and special capital ships, determined to scorch the Terran colonies and outposts. For this fight, the player controls a D-1 vehicle, which can use a number of weapons and battlefield aids (such as moving force shields). But aliens have quite a few deadly weapons in their arsenal too. It is a game with clean gameplay, smooth controls, and the spirit of retro arcade machines.
Just Gameware is pleased to announce that Advanced Invaders is finished and available, and ahead of its original release date. It has been a long journey but the game is up and running. As promised, it's available for Windows, Linux and Android. You can get it at the following places:
Advanced Invaders is an arcade shoot 'em up game inspired by classic Space Invaders, with a sci-fi campaign through Solar system, multiple weapons, enemies, bosses and other surprises. It is a game made in spirit of retro arcade machines.
The player is in control of a ground defence, D-1, vehicle, with the task to shoot down all invading alien formations on the battlefield. Depending on Defender’s performance, various aid (like weapon boxes or force shields) will be deployed on the field during the battle. Only when all swarms of invaders are destroyed, the player can proceed to the next phase of this all-out defence… but one should beware the alien capital ships, that won’t wait for long to join the invasion should the defence prove to be efficient.
