Whats the story behind your screen name, and why do you have the avatar you do?

Henley is my non-western first name and my avatar is mr happy... google it.

SCARECROW is the call sign of Shane M. Schofield, a lead character in Australian author Matthew Reilly's books.
This character does crazy things in combat, which was pretty similar to what I did in a computer game once. I'll explain on my next blog.
My friends said SCARECROW would have done that, that's how I got my nickname.

My avatar is a slightly modified soldier logo from Tom Clancy's series of games. Because it's cool.

I don't remember the story behind my original name. Something stupid. I changed it to Jyffeh to make if a little bit less lame, but close to the old one.

As for my avatar, Bill Hicks is awesome. Nuff said.

I completely forgot to mention mine.

I was called 'ninja' Dave by my friends as I've been studying Ninjitsu for over 3 years now. I'm also that guy who loves to hide and sneak about in every single game I play. I also love to sneak up on my friends to scare them.
My avatar was when I was learning some animations. I got the character all posed up and got a render. I liked it, so cut a section out and made it my avatar.

Uh, can't remember how I came up with mine, but my avatar is the real life equivalent of the Combine gasmask.

The Centurion, my avatar stems from Battlestar Galactica, as a sign of appreciation for the show. First two seasons were great, afterwards they blew it, but I didn't know that was going to happen. I still feel comfortable with the robot image and the ambiguitiy of the name.

My last name is Gifford, which my older brother was nicknamed Gif and so I became Giffy (being in 2nd grade and much younger).
I put a little more "MAN" into the nickname (by 5th grade) and spelt it with an E. So I became GiffE and it just stuck as my screen name for years.
I am also just called Gif though (in person).

As for my avatar, while I go by the alias GiffE everywhere else, I have gone by Donut in online games (first online game was halo pc and I was a big RvB fan).
So my Avatar is Donut from RvB with a "blue spider" on his head.

My screen name is DerkinShnaw and i chose it because one day i got bored and started to make words up and came up with DerkinShnaw. Also, DerkinShnaw is fun to say.

And my Avatar is Adrian Shephard from Half-Life Opposing Force!

Twas my name for my online gaming. I use snetErz mostly now (my real name jumbled up). The avatar is some goofy emoticon I found on deviantart.

Projekt A.R.I.E.L. (short for "ARTificial Research In Electronical Live") is the name of our `digital media performance group`. "Ariel" is also the name of the aeiry spirit aiding the magician Prospero in William Shakespeare`s play "The Tempest" which we transfered into a `FarCry mod`. The avatar is the small version of our logo which as background uses a part of an extremely zoomed-out view on the map of the SturmMOD in the FarCry Sandbox Editor.

My Avatar changed once I became part of ModDb Staff. Its basically an abstract colored pic of my ugly face with the ModDb logo planted on it!
