Thematrixonline.warnerbros.com Videos and Concept and screenshots look good. But will the game make it. Im still shocked that "eve" is making it still. Time will tell!?! |

Can't wait to play it. It looks so cool. I'm going to learn every single martial arts in that game I'm going to be the martial arts master that everyone comes to battle with Edited by: Karuto -- "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster." |

I want to get in on MxO before all of the little noobs start taking over the community. It is an inevitability with all MMOs, unfortunately. I've been trying to follow this lightly ever since I heard about it. The only thing I have a big gripe with is trading abilities and skills. The matrix is not like that at all. You learn something, and you've got it for good. You can't barter your knowledge with people, it doesn't work that way. I think that's really lame. |

I think it will be good. I t would be better if I only had to pay 50$ once rather than 10 or 20$ every month I want to play. |

It depends on the connection and what your PC specs are. You might not experience any lag at all if you own a high-end computer. We'll have to wait and see what happens. Anyone have the Matrix Online beta? Okay, bad idea, because it's a beta, and there's always lag there. lol Oh, and for Wilhelm (I believe), it depends on what kind of MMORPGs you like. I mean, Final Fantasy XI is great for that fantasy atmosphere and is a respectable entry into a long franchise. Matrix Online, however, goes for that more-suburban rumble fighting where you can learn all of these skills and have large clan fights in a modern/cyberpunk world where they actually use guns as well with a mix of BulletTime. I'd suggest researching both games before investing your money in games that take longer than a month to get used to -- "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster." |

^^^ About to say the same thing. Most MMORPGs cost money, and Matrix Online is no exception. A lot of people go into that foray in order to make money for their company or bank off of a franchise. MO is no exception, although I think I'd be willing to pay for such a cool-looking game Hey, they need the money for the servers and whatnot, not to mention steady patches. These people are spending long periods of time trying to make one game better even after its released. -- "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster." |

On that note, are there any good free MMORPGs? |

Like I mentioned, Guild Wars. All you have to do is buy the game itself and there are no monthly fees. Of course, you also have games like Diablo II, Age of Empires II, Counter-Strike, etc. that are all free to play online as well. For MMORPGs, all I can think of is going to beta places and looking for them before they're released commercially. Try Betawatcher.com and Gamespot.com -- "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster." |

Oh, whoops, maybe I was only thinking about it in my last post. I edited "All MMORPGs cost money" to "Most MMORPGs cost money" Well, still, Guild Wars is a great-looking game, and it actually installs patches while you're playing while stringing them out so that you don't feel them slowing down your system. It's also pretty fun. -- "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster." |

He meant your stereotypical noob that likes to run around begging for items and money and being totally clueless to everything around them. People like me and 40oz do a little research about the game before we jump into the universe. It saves us plenty of hassle, and makes you look like you actually know what you're doing, which garners respect from those around you -- "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster." |
