Will the armor be separate from uniforms? and if so will they have an armor value? i can imagine and believe, in the halo story line the UNSC has the advantage of advanced protection of its troops versus rebels.
Yes, the armor will be somewhat separated from the base uniform. The armor will play into their protection, but not by much.
I don't see navy personnel in the list could that be considered?

We have the model, but it is unsure if we want to include it or not. Possibly later on in development.

I see you have the M45 shotgun added already. But through the Halo games 1-3, the M90 was used. Do you plan on also adding the M90 also?
I have a vehicle that you should have, The M145 Rhino, Not the D variant for it had a prototype Plasma Artillery Cannon, But the earlier variants were mobile Artillery like the M109A6's are.

Well SPARTANs are not confirmed for being ingame so remember that. And if they are, they will be no more stronger than an Innie. Everyone will have the same ability to kill one another, it just depends on your skill as an Arma player and tactics.
I don't want to sound rude, but isn't this the confirmed planned/current features for the mod? In this list it states that Spartan 2's will be added at some point.
Also, I understand the need for realism here, but for the love of god don't make the spartans equal to the standard marines, that would be a huge shame. You don't have to make them gods, just make them very rare but powerful to an extent.
You didn't want to but you did anyway. If you read better you would see that SPARTANs were being considered and you replied to a more than two month old comment.
Since then SPARTANs have been flat out removed. The list needs to be updated but there will never be SPARTANs or Covenant.
It's just my own opinion, coupled with a fact. You have an outdated list which clearly states that SPARTAN's "are" planned assets. So why wouldn't I be curious if there are conflicting facts? I will ask the developer. I did not in any way intend to offend you or anyone else, so I apologize for that.

if you ever do want to add Spartans and not make them overpowered, i would suggest spartan III because most of them didnt have shields and did not receive the enhancements spartan II's had, also their training was not as intense, if i remember correctly they were seen as expandable throw away Spartans
Wouldn't make sense as this mod is a good while before the Covenant/Human war. Spartan III's were deployed very late in the war
not true, spartan 3 were om reach, which was early in the war
Reach was extremely far into the Human/Covenant war. The UNSC had lost already lost a huge amount of planets and the Spartans were well into their careers.

Spartan-B312 was special. He removed from the main forces of spartan III's and used for special missions like the Sabre program and the Innies that tried to take advantage of the UNSC being focused on the external threat. Also in the wiki article you linked you missed the main part: "Though the casualty rates of the SPARTAN-IIIs stood at 100 percent on some missions, to ONI, all the operations were strategic successes. They were trading lives for time against the larger and technologically superior Covenant Empire. ONI hoped that in time, enough Spartans would survive to train more and more future Spartans, swelling the ranks of available super soldiers from only thirty SPARTAN-IIs in 2531 to a hundred thousand SPARTAN-IIIs within ten to twenty years." My main points being that the insurrection had all but gone into hiding after the covenant arrived as most of it had been based on the outer worlds that got crushed by the covenant. This mod is based long before the spartan 3's were even thought up by ONI.

Will you treat aircraft like the Pelican and Hornet as VTOLs (ArmA 2 Osprey) or will they use a helicopter-style flight model?
Its a point of debate amongst the team. The helicopter flight model fits the Pelicans style better, but it is a VTOL vehicle in game.
We are going to test VTOL soon enough and we will make the final decision then. For the mean time it is still a helicopter.
Could you not retain the helicopter flight model and use a "boost" for forward flight? Also, will it have any kind of damage model affecting flight performance?
In my personal opinion and of my friend, we believe that the pelican should operate as a VTOL rather than a helicopter; it'd make way more sense and would just feel more 'realistic' i guess
Why don't you just use the Osprey mechanic? When auto-hover is enabled it is flown light a helicopter. When auto-hover is disabled it is flown like a plane... It doesn't make sense not to do it.
What on earth is the FA-78 Gladius manned fighter? Did you mean to put the AV-22 Sparrowhawk? I can't find anything at all on the Gladius, and I've never heard of it.
