Listening to player feedback has been a big part of the design proccess during the development of Sanctum 2, and one of the most frequent requests has been for more background story and lore. There wasn't much time or budget for a story in Sanctum 1, but for Sanctum 2, story has been a big focus that we are very eager to reveal to our players!
Aside from the plot-clues in the playable levels of Sanctum 2, a hand-drawn comic will be an integrated and important element of our presentation of the story arc of the game. For every level that is completed, one or two comic-book pages will be unlocked for players to read.
