GAMEPLAY ELEMENTS: You know that each mod or game has its own gameplay elements. If I need to give an example then you need to collect gold and try catching all mushrooms in Mario games due their own gameplay elements. So I want to give players more detailed information about my mod's all available gameplay elements.


Health & Ammo


Elements 1 7

UAC HEALTH STATION [1]: Marine can restore his health 100 percent by bringing himself on a carpet of an "UAC Health Station" building. Marine can use each "UAC Health Station" building only one time. Also after he benefits from this building type the related building's all available carpets are removed from the map to give player a feedback about the usage.

UAC SUPPLY DEPOT [2]: Marine can obtain new limited ammos by bringing himself on a carpet of an "UAC Supply Depot" building. Marine can use each "UAC Supply Depot" building only one time. Also after he benefits from this building type the related building's all available carpets are removed from the map to give player a feedback about the usage.

Switches


Elements 2 7

REGULAR SWITCH [1]: Marine can activate a regular switch by bringing himself near of a regular switch. After he activates a regular switch its effect(s) last forever and it is removed from the map. Also Marine needs to obtain a "Switch Key" or a more specific item to be able to interact with a regular switch.

TIME BASED SWITCH [1]: Marine can activate a time based switch by bringing himself near of a time based switch. After he activates a time based switch it is removed from the map temporary. Also its effect(s) have a limited time. After the limited time finishes its all effects disappear from the map and the time based switch occurs in its own place again. So Marine needs to activate the time based switch again to be able to benefit from its effect(s). Marine needs to behave fast to catch its all temporary effect(s). Otherwise he needs to try again by activating the time based switch one more time.

TRAP SWITCH [1]: Marine can activate a trap switch by bringing himself near of a trap switch. After he activates a trap switch all traps occur in the trap area. So if Marine achieves to activate the trap switch when some enemies are on the trap area Marine can get rid of these enemies suddenly. Also after Marine leaves from the trap switch's area the trap switch occurs again in its own place. So Marine can activate the same trap switch again freely. Also Marine needs to use these switches carefully against the Sabaoth battle.

CARPET SWITCH [2]: They look like a single carpet however they function like regular switches or time based switches.

Elevators


Elements 3 7

ELEVATOR: Marine can use "UAC Elevators" to reach deeper parts of the UAC Bases. Each UAC Elevator requires its own required item to be activated. Marine needs to go to the carpet of them to activate them. Also this campaign has some elevator scripts to make them more memorable. Even some enemies can also use UAC Elevators to reach Marine.

Teleportation


Elements 4 7

TELEPORTATION: Marine can use a "Teleportation Device" to teleport himself. He can teleport himself to his next destination. He needs to go to the carpet of the Teleportation Device to start its process. Its process takes a little time because all 4 "Teleportation Chambers" need to become active one by one in rows. After all of them become active Marine teleports himself to his next destination. Also while Marine is destroying a teleportation portal gate to prevent Demons he needs to destroy the teleportation portal gate's all 4 Teleportation Chambers one by one. Otherwise he can't prevent Demon Teleportation from the related teleportation portal gate. He can destroy all 4 Teleportation Chambers one by one by left clicking them with mouse after approaching each of them very much.

Oxygen


Elements 5 7

OXYGEN: Marine has a limited oxygen in the whole Mars Surface and also some special areas. If his oxygen finishes he dies suddenly. The game always shows players the oxygen percentage of the Marine as a feedback. Marine can restore his oxygen percent from "UAC Oxygen Station" buildings and "Oxygen Canister" items.

UAC OXYGEN STATION [1]: Marine can restore his oxygen very quickly and heal himself slowly by bringing himself on a carpet of "UAC Oxygen Station" building. Also he can benefit from these building types unlimited times. So he needs to explore all "UAC Oxygen Station" buildings in the whole Mars Surface.

OXYGEN CANISTER [2]: Marine can restore his oxygen by bringing himself on a carpet of mostly 2x2 carpet groups. Also sometimes these items may heal Marine but this is a rare situation. After Marine uses an Oxygen Canister its all related carpets are removed from the map because Marine can use each Oxygen Canister only one time. Also they have a limited amount. So Marine needs to use them carefully due to their limited amount.

Arcade Mini Game


Elements 6 7

ARCADE MINI GAME: Marine can play an "Arcade Mini Game" by controlling the "Hawkeye" against the unlimited Skeletons. He needs to kill maximum Skeletons until Hawkeye dies. If he achieves to kill 6 or more Skeletons he obtains a new message from the UAC. He needs to use "Hit and Run" Tactic with maximum attack speed and he can shoot them from higher elevation areas like the left one.

Interaction with Others


Elements 7 7

INTERACTION: Our unit can talk with all "Martian People Groups" by bringing himself inside of each group one by one in Episode 1. Also Marine can talk with "UAC Personels" by left clicking on them after closing each of them one by one. In addition Marine can interact with some "UAC Buildings" by left clicking the related building after closing the building or bringing himself on a carpet of the related building.

COMPUTER TERMINALS [1]: Marine can listen all UAC information audios of these terminals one by one by bringing himself on the carpet of each of them. Also he can stop listening when he wants by leaving from the related carpet. After that he can interact with the same terminal again by going to the related carpet again.

UAC TURRET [2]: Marine can use an "UAC Turret" to kill hordes of enemies. He needs to bring himself on the carpet of an UAC Turret to start it. When Marine leaves from its related carpet the UAC Turret stops working. So Marine mustn't leave from its related carpet before killing all enemies. Also there will be some extra enemies who come from another directions to provide Marine leaving from the related carpet. Marine needs to kill all of these enemies carefully by not leaving from the related carpet. He can use "Stand Ground" Stance against all extra enemies. Also if he leaves from the related carpet he needs to go to the related carpet again before everything becomes too late for him.

UAC TRANSPORTATION CAR [3]: Marine will use one of them while he is going to "UAC Deimos Base" from "UAC Phobos Base". It has a minigun with unlimited ammos. Also it has a very fast movement speed. It can restore its hp slowly due to its "Auto Repairing Protocol". However despite all of these features the Demons will trap Marine's Car very seriously. So you will need to benefit from this Car's features very carefully.

Darkness & Discontinuous Lights


DARKNESS: Sometimes Demons will turn off the lights to provide the darkness. Marine's line of sight reduces in the darkness. Also he can't shoot any enemies (except BFG ammos) in the darkness. So he needs to turn on the lights again by activating the related switch.

DISCONTINUOUS LIGHTS: The lights will be "on" and "off" (darkness) one by one like a cycle after a regular time period. So Marine needs to be more careful while shooting his enemies. If Marine closes the enemy instead of shooting the enemy this means that he can't shoot due to darkness. So he needs to avoid from the enemy instead of closing the enemy until the lights will be "on" again.

Other Elements


LOCKED AREAS: While Marine is getting around the UAC Corridors the UAC Doors will be locked by VEGA due to the Demonic Threat. So Marine needs to kill all available enemies in the threat area to unlock the UAC Doors again. He can't leave from the locked area until killing all required enemies. Also sometimes some other factors like Demonic Explosions or UAC Platform Walls will lock Marine's way instead of locked UAC Doors by VEGA.

REQUIRED ITEM: Marine needs to find the next required item to be able to activate a special switch or enter a locked area. Mostly this becomes a key. However sometimes this may become a document or a card.

BERSERK: Marine will activate the "Berserk Artifact" in a special portion of this campaign. He will be very powerful, tough and fast for a limited time. Hordes of enemies will attack Marine during the Berserk form. So he needs to behave fast by killing most of enemies (or all of them) before the effects of the Berserk finish. Otherwise he continues fighting against many Demon Units with his regular form.
