The Drag[en]gine is a fully customizable game engine and game development environment designed with modularity and extensibility in mind not requiring expensive licenses.
The nice thing on Physically Based Rendering is that it provides secondary (or bounced) lighting for free under certain conditions. Here the green light hitting the wall through the door illuminates also the hallways in the shadows. This prevents also totally dark shadows in situations with only few light sources without the need for ambient lights which have their own problems.
