Description
The Road To Proper Zero Ping Multiplayer: "showmodel progs(slash)player.mdl" will put a model in your view for inspection -- showmodel (model) [frame number] [z origin adjustment] [scale]. This path aware autocompletes so typing "showmodel progs" and press TAB will complete all found .mdl .md3 .spr .obj models found. Status bar shows prediction method when pressing TAB in single player if prediction is turned on (cl_movement 2). See readme for other. Linux SDL and Linux dedicated server binaries. I have an azerty keyboard and when I press ² key, the console does not appear. This work with Darkplaces and other doom/quake-like, it's our tilde key. Is there a way to make this key active again? Linux or Windows release, same result.
Let me know if "con_closeontoggleconsole 0" solves your issue.
This is the default in DarkPlaces, the default in Zircon is "con_closeontoggleconsole 4" which is what I believe is similar behavior to Quakespasm and for US keyboard users prevents "`" from being typed in the console which is "Quake normal".
I typed "con_closeontoggleconsole 0" in console and that changed nothing. Happily I can still access console by the menu. Another idea?
New version #32 -- is attempt to address "superscript 2" on AZERTY keyboard.
