These textures are a DarkPlaces conversion of evillair's eU Texture Set. See textures/eu_textures/eU_ReadMe.txt
There's another pack: Forums.xonotic.org which of course I probably should have googled before basically doing the same thing. But sometimes it's not the destination, but the journey that counts. Unless the journey really sucks. I'm going to search more often.
Included are also a few extras regarding rain and water as this drop pertains to this conversation on GitHub: Github.com regarding a more flexible shader system, see _wet variant in .shader, editor screenshots and in the test map test_mat2 for a current limited DP version.
Perhaps as things progress, this can be built upon as a general testbed or whatever.

Looks better with r_water set to 1 but can be turned off.
Also looks awesome with r_glsl_offsetmapping and r_glsl_reliefmapping turned on, iirc, I'm going off the top here.
