patch The Russians read me gives info on extra parts such as some textures that were used that are from Misery (sky). It has had some fixes and a rewritten translation added. The read me's contain credits.
Whats the difference between 2.1 and Geonezis version?

Geo was based on 1.7 originally and then ported to 2.0 which only adds the Dark valley, It is all about adding more to the storyline and extra quests. In SGM you need to do things to get the key to search the helicopters, In Geo it takes a good eight hours of gameplay to get ready to get the key. I will upload a walkthrough read me later for those who want it.
What about equipment diversity? I saw there was a nice honey badger or ACR thingo in one of the screenshots...
Geo adds an additional 100 plus weapons and lots of extra everything, outfits, artifacts etc. I think it was the best add-on for SGM 1.7/2.0. It has a well thought out quest build too.

There's Russian walkthroughs. I haven't seen a merge of GOTZ for Geonezis.

It turns out GOTZ is already built in, Go into the menu during a game and use the f2 button to enter it.
hi dude thanks for making these available could you please direct me to this walkthrough readme you speak of as it would save time and I'd hate to miss anything.
Ok so now I'm REALLY desperate for that walkthrough I've been blitzing through the game up to this point even passing through some problem quests without issue (Tarantino) but now all progress has completely stalled because I can't find Owl's damn ammo stash left by the bandit mob at Izumundroye, needed for defence of the Skadovsk. He gives 'approximate location' but it's not good enough I have looked high and low and found other unrelated stashes in the search. looked under and inside every single cabin and scoured bushes etc. Is it on the roof? if so how am I to get to the roof. getting really frustrated by this one PLZ HELP!
It can be moved around each time you play so check bushes on the outer edges of the village aswell, ie the ones on the outside of it's perimeter, It can be a bugger to find, I've spent countless hours looking, Maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration but you know what I mean.
Ok guess its only to persevere and surely it will turn up, thanks for the reply. I hate these type of quest 'find my POS stalker' sigh, cheers then :)
Well I found it! But only after loading a save from before Owl sent me to find it and this time it was real easy to find so either it spawned in a new place or never spawned at all the first time. Is the mission to defend Skadovsk supposed to take forever? its been a full hour and there's been less than 10 attackers...no mission update ?

Thanks for posting SGM Geonezis A.I.O. Quick question - Is this mod an extension of SGM 2.2 A.I.O? i.e. extra maps/graphics/quests etc? I see it is about 600mb larger than SGM 2.2. I played SGM 2.2 A.I.O. a few months ago and it was by far the best I've played.
Secondly, I see there has been some extra graphical mods for SHOC recently uploaded (HD tiles/skies and SHOC Mod pack 2013) have you checked them out? Any good? Keen to hear your thoughts.

Hello, This is based on the older SGM 2.0 which only has one extra map. It is as completely different as a mod based on a mod can be and well worth trying.
SHOC Mod pack 2013 has been around a while (or is this 2012 tweaked) and it is a great compilation, One of my favourite SHOC mods.

Geonezis addon is an awesome thing, of course, however, I would recommend you to try playing a new mod created by Geonezis. It is called "In Spite Of The Death" (rus. "Смерти вопреки"). Absolutely new "fresh" plot and features that you won't probably see in any other mod/addon.
If someone is unhappy with having there mod translated, credited to them and shared with players that do not speak Russian then they only need to mail me and I'll happily delete the mod and if need be the whole page. This page is about making Russian mods available to a wider user base.
No, no, no. If there was any problem with that, you would get a PM from the mod's author. I haven't said anything bad about the mod being translated and posted here. I would rather thank you for helping the Modding Community in way.

Wow just wow! A couple hours into this mod what fun! A good challenge and enough new integrated quests to make it fresh again. As much as I am looking forward to Misery, it will have to be something special to top this one.
I have got as far as nitro wanting special tools for the grenades, with out giving the game away could somebody point me in the general direction, those alpha squads are a pain but I love em, the way to get some good weapons.
There hidden somewhere within the boundaries of the Recycling factory (Merc camp). I found certain scenario's where they would not appear so I also put a set in a npc's personal stash near there.

You need to buy a hacker program, ask SGM traders then you'll get sent to the right person who'll want you to do somethings first.

I'm not sure what you mean? It can be used on any setting like most mods.
When I go to options I only have Static Lighting avaible. Tried to delete the user.ltx but nothing change.
I presume it does the same thing without the mod, If so your best bet is to delete the game and reload it. If it is only with the mod added then the mod must be corrupted so delete that gamedata and add it again.
Yeah I managed to get it work. Unfortunately exactly like the SGM 2.2 with all those atmosfear and things I usually never use : it's unplayable at Svadovsk. Even Far Cry 3 with everything in "High" runs at 45/50 fps + on my Alienware. Only SGM 2.2 and this mod are unplayable on my computer. Don't know why. Maybe the scripts or the 2K texture. I used to install atmosfear before. But it use a ridicul high amount of memory for (subjective pov here) something that can be easily dump in good contents mods. SGM 2.1 runs perfectly without. With it's clearly 20 fps less.
So sad. Now I'll need to wait for Misery 2.0.
Thx for all your hard work though the 20 minutes I played were ok. So sad I'll never been able to try all the new quests here.
Hi David, Been trying to over come the mutant storm mission from duty,I have used a hard save and quick after ctd,

any ideas, I can load a much earlier save, due to so many mutants its a job not to kill friendlies and upsetting his mates in a big way.
Hi again, The mod has become totally unplayable doing that duty mission with army's of mutants elimination, will try bypassing that mission altogether, that is very hard with so many controllers, hopefully it will get sorted, or a way round can be found like a bit of extra text to eliminate the problem, it looks like what duty give for reward and what the treasure manager is saying there's a conflict, but what do I know....
I never had any issues with that task and it needs to be done to continue with the stuff thats after, Can I have a save please from before the task is activated, Cheers. I often ended up killing all my helpers on that task. I take it you mean this task.

Anyone have a clue what's happening with Tarantino, the Bandit in the Exo? We went from the starting point, to the blown bridge, then to a blocked canal area somewhat close to the Jupiter factory, across the road where the Hunter later gives you the Burer Quest. The bandit just stands there, no other dialog options are available. I've gone around and killed a few mutants, even a Monolith sniper, but he's still just standing there.

Restart the quest, When he gets to the collapsed bridge by the cement factory you need to talk to him just as he turns around to start walking up to the factory, If you miss the trigger you need to do it again He passes the cement factory and walks upto the bridge but stops because it has collapsed, he then turns around to start walking towards the Jupiter plant, you need to catch him then for dialog where he gives you a final get 3 artifacts and deliver them to Sultan quest. Sultan then sends you up to to Zaton bandit base, Do there work next. Find Gammermann who only spawns there once you join the bandit faction, He runs a quiz, He gives three stash rewards, Theres one (not on the Skadovsk) which is a unique weapon.
